ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization Mushaal Hussein Mullick has welcomed the joint resolution passed by over 30 US civil society organizations pressing the Biden administration to sanction India for rising religious persecution of non-Hindu Indians.

Mushaal, the wife of illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Yasin Malik, said in a statement on Monday said that the joint resolution of around three dozen of NGOs is a good omen because Indian under the fascist Narendra Modi regime crossed the limits of brutalities and callousness.

She said that Indian brutal forces not only made life a hell of people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) but also of non-Hindu in India.

Mushaal went on to say that the RSS-inspired Modi government is pressing non-Hindu inhabitants of India to either converted to the Hindu religion or flee the country.

It is pertinent to mention here that the joint resolution was passed on the closing day of the International Religious Freedom Summit in Washington and initiated by the Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC).

The Chairperson demanded that the US admonition should give serious consideration to the resolution to designate India as a “Country of Particular Concern”, and to sanction officials and others promoting religious discrimination and open persecution of non-Hindu religions in India because the Hindutva supremacist unleashed a wave of barbarism and terrorism in the country.

The Hurriyat leader said that there is a long list of historical evidence of government-backed harassment, killing, oppression, and intimidation of Christians, Jews, Muslims, and others.

She appreciated the over 30 organizations for rising the most serious issue of human tragedy and urged the world powers and human rights organizations to take notice of the unabated and rising inhuman violations incidents in India as well in the occupied valley.

Mushaal said that the UN bodies and powerful countries should boycott India and impose strict sanctions on the country to force the fascist regime to let the non-Hindu to live their lives as per their free will besides allowing Kashmir to take the decision of their fate as per their wishes.
