KashmirKashmir Solidarity Forum of South America holds Inaugural Webinar

IQUIQUE, Chile: The Kashmir Solidarity Forum of South America held its inaugural webinar on October 25, 2020 to raise concerns over the atrocities being conducted in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Speakers from Buenos Aires (Argentina), Iquique & Santiago (Chile), Lima (Peru), Asuncion (Paraguay), Montevideo (Uruguay), and Quito (Ecuador) spoke on the occasion, urging the International Community to take note of the grave human rights violations in IIOJK.

Over 70 participants from around South America attended the webinar and showed solidarity with Kashmiri brethren whilst condemning Indian brutalities.

Organized by the Pakistani Community in Chile, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Argentina (with concurrent accreditation to Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay), Dr. Muhammad Khalid Ejaz spoke on the occasion as Chief Guest.

Ambassador Khalid Ejaz said that the Pakistani Community in South America were the flag-bearers of the country abroad, and as Prime Minister Imran Khan has proclaimed that he will act as the ambassador for beleaguered Kashmiris in IIOJ&K, Pakistanis in the region play an important role in raising awareness.

Dr. Muhammad Khalid Ejaz further mentioned that the world should take note of the human rights violations in the Indian-occupied territory and abrogation of the status of the domicile of Kashmiris.

Participants and attendees, alike, expressed their desire to build upon the inaugural webinar of the Kashmir Solidarity Forum of South America.

The Organisers from Chile said that future activities will be planned and that the Community will be working together to raise the voice of beleaguered Kashmiris.
