ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A delegation consisting of the foreign diplomats, defense attachés, and representatives of world organizations in Pakistan visited the JURA Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Thursday.
The Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar briefed the delegation on the current situation at the LoC.
The delegation itself reviewed the ceasefire violations by the Indian forces and met the affectees of the Indian provocation.
The diplomats were briefed that Indian troops have intentionally been targeting the civil population along with the Line of Control, and in 2020 to date, they have committed 2,333 ceasefire violations.
The delegation included diplomats from 24 Countries including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, France, Azerbaijan, Turkey, European Union, Australia, Switzerland, Egypt, Poland, Greece, Iran, Iran, South Africa, South Arabia, Bosnia, Palestine, Libya, Afghanistan, and others.
Besides, a representative of the World Food Program (WFP) was also part of the delegation.
