Azad Kashmir - The 73rd Founding Day of Azad Jammu and Kashmir State is being observed on Saturday with a renewed pledge to continue the struggle until the liberation of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and accession of the whole territory to Pakistan. In his message to mark the 73rd Founding Day of Azad Kashmir, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has called upon the United Nations to play its leading role in resolving the longstanding Kashmir dispute and implement its resolutions for establishing durable and everlasting peace in the region. Raja Farooq Haider said that said India’s expansionist designs have not only jeopardized the peace of the entire region but would trigger another human tragedy. The AJK prime minister said the main objective behind the establishment of the Azad Kashmir government was the liberation of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Separately, the Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur in a statement reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for the right to self-determination. The minister said that the world should take notice of Indian inhuman acts and brutalities in the Indian Occupied Kashmir, and also demanded the imposition of sanctions on India. Ali Amin Gandapur said that support for Kashmiris is swelling at the international level due to the efforts of the government.  The minister for Kashmir affairs said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is raising the voice of oppressed Kashmiri people as an advocate and ambassador of Kashmiris. Paying tributes to the sacrifices of Kashmiri people, Ali Amin Gandapur said that the Kashmiri youth are determined just like their ancestors to get their right to self-determination.
