AfghanistanKarzai backs Pakistan's stance on US drones

KABUL: Afghan President Hamid Karzai said on Thursday that he fully backs Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s stance on the issue of US drone strikes inside Pakistan.

In an interview with private TV channel on Thursday, Karzai said he opposes any foreign incursion in Pakistan just the way he is against any such act in Afghanistan.

The Afghan President expressed disappointment the way the war on terror is being executed‚ saying it is not going to “get us any relief”.

To a question‚ Karzai regretted that the raids in the war against terror are not hitting the right targets‚ causing civilian casualties and material losses.
