ISLAMABAD: Justice Nasirul Mulk will take oath as the new Chief Justice of Pakistan on Saturday, replacing Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani who will retire on Friday after a seven-month term as the country’s top judge.

President Mamnoon Hussain will administer the oath to Justice Nasirul Mulk at the President House in Islamabad.

The president gave the approval for appointment of Justice Nasirul Mulk as the new Chief Justice of Pakistan on Monday.
