Judicial commission recommends appointment of CJ LHC as SC judge

ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission of Pakistan on Wednesday made recommendations for the appointment of Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Umar Ata Bandiyal as a Supreme Court judge.

In a meeting held in Islamabad on Wednesday with Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani in the chair, the judicial commission also recommended appointment of Senior Judge of the LHC Justice Khwaja Imtiaz as the Chief Justice of the LHC.

The commission also recommended appointing Athar Minallah as the additional judge of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
