Jirga System had always been used to gain time against Security Forces in Bajaur

Monitoring Desk: There is a long history that Jirga system (collective negotiation process) has always been used as a tool for gaining time and resources by the terrorists against the state of Pakistan.

In the last twenty years, there have been about 100 Jirga (negotiations) and agreements with the Fitna-al-Kharij, and they have broken them every time. The Pashtun jirga system is a traditional form of conflict resolution and decision-making among Pashtun communities, both in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pakistan’s constitution had banned this tradition and Supreme Court had given several verdicts against it. However, the state of Pakistan usually engages with Jirga System when where there is a need for negotiation in KP and Baluchistan.

All the terrorists, mostly Afghans of the Fitna-al-Kharij have received a common fatwa that everyone else except you are apostates, so the promises or agreements made to them are not valid according to Sharia. Under this Fatwa, when they are surrounded, they immediately raise the slogan of negotiations and as soon as they get the opportunity, they break the agreement or agreement. They are so cruel that when the army went to Swat for the first time, they summoned unarmed military officers for negotiations on the pretext of Islam and slaughtered them. An SP of Peshawar was also summoned and slaughtered in the same way.

When they gathered in Bajaur and martyred the Assistant Commissioner and Maulana Khanzeb, the army was ordered to immediately reach Bajaur and take action. On this, PTM and some politicians announced that they would not allow an operation against the terrorists. PTI’s Shandana Gulzar called the army personnel who went for an operation against the terrorists as “foreigners”. PTM social media immediately launched a campaign that the army had actually come to seize the marble stones in Bajaur. This created a negative atmosphere, but the army started arriving despite this.

Then the local Jirga offered the army that they would talk to the TTP. The army said to try and see. Under the blanket of negotiations, terrorists reorganized and started gathering in one place. Initially, the terrorists gave the impression that they were obeying the jirga, but during this time they laid a large number of landmines at several important places and simultaneously took up positions. After doing all this, yesterday they suddenly said that we have not come to negotiate but to wage jihad. At the same time, they severely insulted the members of the jirga and threatened to arrest some of them. Seeing all this, the Salarzai tribe of Bajaur abandoned the PTI’s policy of negotiations and announced that they were with the army. The rest of the people have also cooled down to a considerable extent.

Regarding the Khwaraji (terrorists), you will never get success if you break the order of the Prophet (peace be upon him); the Prophet (peace be upon him) has ordered, “Kill them wherever you find them.” This is their only solution.

A large number of Khwaraji in Bajaur are Afghans. The Pakistan Army has completed its preparations, and the operation will start at any time. As far as the PTM and some politicians are concerned, now they have got another task and that is to propagate against the Pakistan Army during the operation so that the terrorists get support. This will include spreading false news about the deaths of civilians by the army, resorting to old and fake photos, or blaming the army for the deaths of. These people are no less than Khwaraji in their hostility to the state and the army, who consider every deception and lie against Pakistan to be legitimate under Sharia law.
