ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Interim Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Jamal Shah on Wednesday visited the Aiwan-e-Quaid Building at Fatima Jinnah Park in Islamabad and expressed his desire to further upgrade the facilities.
During visit, the senior officials at Aiwan-e-Quaid briefed him about various facilities available at the building.
The federal minister also visited various facilities of Aiwan-e-Quaid Building including Quaid-i-Azam Gallery, Quaid Public Library, Auditorium, documentation center, Training and research center.
The federal minister said that the facilities would be upgraded to make it more useful place for the people for relevant cultural, educational and literary activities.
Jamal Shah also visited Bagh-e-Shuhada being developed adjacent to the Islamabad Art Gallery which besides other features would also contain portrait of martyrs and a beautiful Monument with the purpose to aware people particularly children and young generation about sacrifices of Martyrs.
The minister said that Bagh-e-Shuhada would be inaugurated on September 06 in a graceful ceremony followed by a musical concert aiming to pay tribute to Martyrs and Art Exhibition at Islamabad Art Gallery.
