Islamabad, Pakistan: After the incident of Jaffar Express hijacking, the Federal Government has shown interest in improving police administration in the province and a revamping of Balochistan Police has been started.
Services of Captain (retd) Asim Khan of Police Service Grade 20 have been handed over to the Balochistan government. Captain (retd) Asim Khan was earlier awaiting appointment in the Establishment Division. Services of Shahzad Akbar of Police Service Grade 20 have been handed over to Balochistan. Shehzad Akbar was earlier OSD in the Establishment Division. Notification of transfer of Ali Sher Jakhrani of Police Service Grade 19 to Motorway Police cancelled and Ali Sher Jakhrani will continue to serve in Balochistan the Establishment Division has issued official notifications of appointments and transfers.
