Iran's finance minister to visit Pakistan on December 8

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Iranian finance minister Ali Tayyebnia will arrive in Islamabad on December 8 on an official visit, which according to his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar would help enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.

In a meeting between the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan Ali Reza Haghighian and the federal minister for financé Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Wednesday, they discussed matters pertaining to upcoming visit of Iran’s minister of economic affairs and finance to Pakistan.

Ishaq Dar told the Iranian envoy said that the visit of Iranian finance minister would help enhance economic cooperation between Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The finance minister said that he was very positive about success of the Joint Economic Commission as leadership of both the countries is serious in resolving issues and taking steps for better cooperation.

Meanwhile, the finance minister has called a meeting of all relevant ministries and departments on Saturday to prepare for the upcoming visit of the Iranian finance minister.
