At the Closing of the Trading Session in the Interbank Market on April 26, 2024, the US Dollar (USD) settled at 278.38 against the Pakistani Rupee (PKR), depreciating by 0.03 percent.

(EUR) stood at Rs 298.87, the British Pound (GBP) at Rs 348.48, the Canadian Dollar (CAD) at Rs 204.08, the Australian Dollar (AUD) at Rs 182.41, the UAE Dirham (AED) at Rs 75.79, the Saudi Riyal (SAR) at Rs 74.22, the Chinese Yuan (CNY) at Rs 38.42, and the Turkish Lira (TRY) at Rs 8.57.Interbank Dollar Rate Today in Pakistan – 26 April 2024

Five terrorists sent to hell in Balochistan Islamabad, Pakistan: On 18 October 24, security forces conducted a successful intelligence based operation in District Pishin on reported presence of Khwarij (TTP). During the operation, five khwarij were apprehended and a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives including 3 x Suicide Vests were seized. Apprehended Khwarij were involved in multiple terrorist attacks and were planning to target security forces as well as innocent civilians. In an other operation in District Zhob on 17 October 2024, during a fire exchange with security forces, two khwarij were sent to hell. In ensuing sanitisation of the area, weapons and ammunition were also recovered in large quantity. Security forces of Pakistan remain steadfast in their commitment to eradicate terrorism from the country and protect innocent civilians from this menace.
