RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: An Inquiry headed by a Serving Lt General will be conducted to probe what the former Chief of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt General (retd) Asad Durrani wrote in his Controversial book ‘Spy Chronicles’, the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Monday.

“A formal Court of Inquiry headed by a serving Lt Gen has been ordered to probe the matter in detail,” Major General Asif Ghafoor said.

“Competent authority approached to place his name on ECL (Exit Control List)”, he added.

The book ‘The Spy Chronicles’: RAW, ISI and the Illusion of Peace, has been co-authored by the former Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) Chief A.S. Dulat and former ISI Chief Lt General Asad Durrani.

The book is said to be mainly a series of discussions conducted between the two former adversaries on a range of topics by journalist Aditya Sinha.
