ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal told the National Assembly on Friday that an initiative had been taken to uplift 20 poorest districts of the Country.

During the Question Hour in the Lower House of the Parliament, the minister told that the initiative would be completed with the cooperation of the provincial governments.

Ahsan Iqbal told that an alternative motorway between Karachi and Hyderabad would also be constructed.

Furthermore, he said that the government was giving priority to the development of Balochistan province.
