ISLAMABAD: Pervaiz Rashid says the government wants to take all political parties on board on the issue of national security.

Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government has completed its homework on the national security policy but it wanted to take all political parties on board on the issue.

In a statement‚ he said the government is committed to eradication of terrorism in the country.

Pervaiz Rashid said a stable society was prerequisite for the development of the country.

The Minister also paid tribute to Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim for holding free‚ fair and transparent election in the country.
