WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT THIS PHONE

Refresh Rate

With the first in the tribe to get this feature, Infinix has left many known brands behind to introduce this to its smartphone range. If you compare this one to other famous Android smartphones, you will know its functionality and speed is much better than that of the others. If you are someone who wants to save up on the battery or do not want such a super-fast response, you can switch back to the normal 60Hz refresh rate too.

Not just this, but Zero 8 does give you a choice to turn the option for optimal efficiency on, which means that your smartphone will device which refresh rate is better to be used when.

Cameras

Even though some people might question the need to have a diamond quad-camera at the back, Infinix has outdone itself with the camera quality it brings forth. If you are someone who did not like the design, it won’t be matter because of the quality of the camera you are getting (both front and back). The 64MP back setup and 48MP front setup are great to have for the price you pay for this phone.

Cherry on top, as mentioned, it is the world’s first 48MP +8MP dual selfie camera. The 48MP supports ultra-night mode and can click 105° ultra-wide-angle selfies. Aren’t good selfies our goals these days? Moreover, the 64MP rear camera also has an ultra-night mode and IMX 686 with Sony Lens. You can easily have 4K recording on both front and back camera with ultra-steady video stabilization no matter what the condition. The slow-motion videos have been improved as well with up to 960fps and 32X slower than before processor HelioG90T.

Performance

Since we know Infinix among other features has branded Zero 8 as the mid-ranger for the gaming lovers. There is no denying that. The superfast performance and the actions happening within a micro-second of touch means that this one is giving the other smartphones a run for their money. This is all possible because of the MediaTek Helio G90T chipset which has added to the amazing, super-fast performance of the device. The chipset is best known for gaming. The side-mounted fast fingerprint sensor works commendably as well.

Coming to display’s performance, the 6.85 FHD+ 90HZ smooth display and can be operated single-handedly.

Battery

If you are buying this phone for continuous usage especially for gaming, you are in the right place. With a 4500mAh battery, you can use Zero 8 continuously for gaming for more than 6 hours. If you are indulging in everyday activities, the phone can last you more than a day. What else do you need? This battery time is indeed good and again gives a tough competition to the known names out there.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE ABOUT THE PHONE

Huge Frame

For people who are a fan of huge devices and don’t mind a phone that doesn’t easily fit in hands, it might not be a big deal. But Infinix Zero 8 might not exactly be practical for those who want their phones to be extremely functional and practical. The frame and build are huge, which might be uncomfortable for a good number of people.

Moreover, we do know that Infinix took a risk with the diamond-shaped quad-camera because some people might not prefer that either.

Bloatware

Unfortunately, Android 10 brings excessive bloatware to the device. Even when you just start using the phone and haven’t used the device per se, you will notice many unwanted apps and ads here & there. To uninstall extra stuff for the better functionality of your phone will be a bit of extra work for the users.

CONCLUSION

Infinix Zero 8 is overall a great smartphone with a whole lot of features in a price point that justifiable. If the build is something you can compromise on for the sake of performance, we do not see any other better option right now. If you are a gamer, especially, look no further because we just might have found a new Smartphone for you.
