Indian sponsored terrorism and Pakistan’s Independence Day

DND Report

The security forces of Pakistan have busted several circles of terrorists, killing over 60 in the last five days and frustrated numerous attempts of terrorists to enter Pakistan from the Afghan border. There is a surge of terrorist cross-border infiltration from the Afghan border as Pakistan’s Independence Day is reaching closer.

TTP that is officially called as Fitna al Khawarij is freely operating from Afghanistan but their fate is nothing just a line of dead bodies whenever they are entering into Pakistan and over 50 terrorists were sent to hell in the last five days when they were trying to infiltrate into Pakistan from Afghan soil.

Since Afghanistan-China-Pakistan trilateral talks that held in Kabul, Pakistan is avoiding to pass any comment about the Afghan Taliban and TTP possible collaboration regarding cross-border terrorism against Pakistan because Islamabad always tries to normalise relations with Kabul. The government of Pakistan after Afghanistan-China-Pakistan trilateral talks slowed down the process of sending illegal Afghans back to home on the demand of Afghan Interim Government but cross-border terrorism did not stop although Afghan Interim government gave a commitment during Afghanistan-China-Pakistan trilateral talks that it would take appropriate measures to stop cross-border terrorism against Pakistan.

This indifferent behavior of Afghan Interim government is creating problems for Pakistan that cannot execute proper counterterrorism strategy because the foremost of such strategy is to neutralize/kill terrorists at their hideouts before they can attack or try to infiltrate into Pakistan. Since their hideouts are inside Afghanistan, Pakistani security forces are not allowed by the Afghan government to neutralize terrorists inside their hideouts, and Pakistani forces have to wait and follow when and where terrorists will enter Pakistan. This is a quite time-consuming and painstaking exercise. Although Pakistan loudly says that the India-TTP nexus is harming the peace of Pakistan, Pakistan is refraining from sharing information why the Afghan Interim Government is not taking appropriate measures against TTP. Pakistan’s Afghan Policy is delicate and sensitive and is now becoming subtle after Afghanistan-China-Pakistan trilateral talks as there are now three partners engaged to achieve peace in the region.

TTP has officially released a statement asking its foot soldiers to intensify attacks against Pakistan before and on Independence Day of Pakistan, and this factor again exposed Pakistan’s enemies do not care about the progress of the region and always try to harm unity and peace in Pakistan. Especially India, which has been waging a proxy war against Pakistan for a long time, has now fallen into despair after being defeated on every front, particularly in recent Indo-Pak fighting. The defeat of the battle for truth is proving to be a source of embarrassment for India both internally and externally, and to avenge this failure, India has once again mobilized its fostered terrorist organization “Fitna al-Khawarij” living inside Afghanistan.

The heinous terrorist plan of the TTP (Fitna al Khawarij) India nexus has been exposed once again, and Afghan soil is being used against Pakistan once again.

Commenting on the situation, a responsible official dealing with national security said that plan has been made to spread unrest in Pakistan on the occasion of Independence Day so that the national celebrations of 14 August can be sabotaged. India has started a new wave of infiltration using its networks in Afghanistan for this purpose.

“In the past few days, the evidence of Indian pressure on the Fitnat-ul Khawarij on the Pakistan-Afghan border has clearly come to light when the security forces, taking timely action, killed 47 terrorists on the night of August 7, 8 and 8-9. These terrorists were directly related to the Fitnat-ul-Khawarij, and their aim was to target the Independence Day celebrations. The aim of infiltrating such a large number of terrorists from Afghanistan was to carry out terrorist attacks on Independence Day. This fact has now become clear to the world that the plan of the Indian proxy Fitnat-ul-Khawarij to spread terrorism in Pakistan has been revealed. India is constantly trying to fabricate a false narrative against Pakistan to avoid its internal failures, political pressure and global isolation. To hide the defeat, India has injected huge financial resources for patronaging Fitnat-ul-Khawarij and the Fitnat-ul-Hindustan. Both these groups are working for Indian interests and their sole purpose is to destabilize Pakistan, but the Pakistani people and state are fully aware of these conspiracies and are ready to give a befitting reply to the enemy on every front. Terrorist groups are being mobilized to plan attacks on national days like “Independence Day”, explained the security official with the condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to talk with the media.

When asked to comment, a senior journalist who covered the Afghan War in 1996-98 and then 2003-2006 stated that cross-border terrorism from Afghanistan will continue despite Chinese’s attempt to fix the Pakistan-Afghan relationship. He claimed that the Afghan Taliban interim government wouldn’t listen to anybody and would continue to host TTP and other global terrorists while Pakistan’s love for Afghan brothers would also continue and Pakistan would continue to accept demands that would keep arriving from Kabul because Pakistan always tries to find a way to hold peace in the region.

The situation is getting further complex for Pakistan as PTI has decided to meddle Independence Day celebrations with political protests and has asked its followers to gather at important points, and such a situation would definitely help terrorists to attack soft targets such as protest gatherings etc.

All Pakistanis should recognize these enemies of Pakistan who are working on India’s instructions. It is as clear as day that India and its proxies are trying to open a new front against Pakistan, but the Pakistani nation and institutions are not only aware and alert, but are also defending with full force.
