RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Pakistani and Indian troops once again exchanged fire across the Working Boundary on Thursday which left five Pakistani civilians wounded, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a statement, the ISPR said that unprovoked firing and shelling by the Indian border forces continued for 11 hours on Harpal and Chaprar sectors on the Working Boundary.

The Indian unprovoked firing caused injuries to five Pakistani civilians, the ISPR said.

It further said that Pakistani troops gave a befitting response to the Indian firing.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Indian firing left two Pakistani civilians martyred and eight injured in Chaprar Sector on the Working Boundary.

The incidents of cross-border firing have become a routine since the Uri attack and as a result, multiple casualties inflicted on both sides.

Meanwhile, Kashmiris living on both sides of Line of Control (LoC) and the World over are observing Black Day today to condemn the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir State by Indian forces.

It was on October 27, 1947 when Indian troops landed in Srinager in sheer violation of international law and division plan of united India.
