Indian border force kills Pakistani citizen in Shakargarh sector

SIALKOT, Pakistan: The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel shot dead an innocent Pakistani citizen in the Shakargarh sector along the Sialkot Working Boundary, the Chenab Rangers said.

The Chenab Rangers said that the 40-year-old Amanat Ali was kidnapped by the BSF personnel on Friday while he was harvesting his wheat crop in a border village and later tortured and shot him dead.

The sources said that initially the BSF officials refused to hand over the body of the villager to Pakistani officials. But later officials of the two sides held a flag meeting where they handed over the body.
