As she was leaving for the UAE, she was asked to carry a trophy to hand over that to someone in Sharjah, with which she complied. Though she was kept oblivious of what she was carrying had in fact drugs inside.

The actress was imprisoned in Sharjah Jail for weeks before she was freed on a bail on April 26 night.

However, the actress is not allowed to leave the Country as she is undertrial and yet to prove her innocence in the drug case. Therefore, she is now staying with her relatives in the UAE.
