Hyderabad: In a brutal incident, a married woman was gang raped by seven men in Mahbubnagar district on Sunday. The incident happened in Nasarullahbad village in Jadcherla mandal late night. The Dispatch News Desk (DND) reports.

A married woman, hailing from Julapally village, in Talakondapalli mandal went to Nasarullahbad to meet her sister. According to police officials, her relative Raju misbehaved with her in the village and even attacked the man who accompanied her. While she was returning, Raju along with six other men followed her in an auto, forcibly dragged her to nearby fields and raped her.

Later they left her near the Jadcherla government hospital and also stole two cellphones, Rs 10,000 cash, said CI Venkataramana. He said the police had already taken six persons involved in the crime into custody while another was absconding. Police seized all material from them.
