IPOH: South Korea has won 9th Asia Hockey Cup after beating India by 4-3 goals in final while Pakistan has grabbed Bronze medal after beating host Malaysia by 3-1 in Ipoh this day.

South Korean team dominated final match with India and took lead by 2 goals in first half of the game. Indian team played well in second half and equalized the game with 2-2 with hard efforts.

South Korea scored another goal and took lead again by 3-2 goals but after little while India equalized goals by 3-3 and eliminated South Korea’s lead.

As match was getting close to end, South Korea got another chance, and it made fourth goal against rival India to clinch Asia Hockey Cup 4th time and create history in Ipoh.

Earlier, Pakistan defeated Malaysia by 3-1 goals and won Bronze Medal in the tournament.
