Rasheed urges Pakistan, India to cooperate with each other for peace

ISLAMABAD: The federal minister for information Pervaiz Rasheed has urged both Pakistan and India to cooperate with each other for bright future of the region, instead of confrontation.

“Pakistan wants peace in the region and resolution of disputes with India through dialogue,” the minister said in an interview with Radio Pakistan on Saturday.

The information minister said that Pakistan wants to forget bitterness of past.

The minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to India on the occasion of oath taking ceremony of the newly elected Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will provide an opportunity to Nawaz Sharif to exchange of with heads of the SAARC and other countries.

Rasheed said that all the Pakistani political parties both in and outside the Parliament have welcomed the prime minister’s decision to attend the oath taking ceremony of Narendra Modi.
