The prime minister said that he will discuss all matters with the Indian leadership. He said that matters can only be resolved through negotiations.

The Indian prime minister-designate Narendra Modi had officially invited Nawaz Sharif to attend the ceremony.

During his visit, Sharif will also hold meetings with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee.
