Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi receives ‎threatening letters

NEW DELHI: The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi received ‎threatening letters, prompting Islamabad to demand the Indian government to bolster the security of its diplomats.

The media reports said that the Pakistani Deputy High Commissioner to India raised the issue with the India’s External Affairs Ministry.

‎”The letters, which were received in the past few days, contained threats to harm Pakistani officials as well attacks on the missions”, an official said on the condition of anonymity.

The Pakistan’s Foreign Office demanded of Indian authorities to thoroughly investigate the letters to find out who sent them to Pakistan High Commission.
