No meeting between Nawaz, Modi in New York: FO

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Office said on Thursday that no meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi has been fixed in New York.

The Pakistani premier is currently in New York to attend the 69th annual session of the United Nations General Assembly.

In her weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, the Foreign Office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said that Pakistan has offered help for flood affected people in the Indian held Kashmir.

The Foreign Office spokesperson further said that Pakistan has a clear policy about terrorists and action is continuing against them without any discrimination.

The spokesperson said that Pakistan and China are in contact with each other for the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Pakistan.
