IndiaIPL auction: Pakistani players snubbed once again

NEW DELHI: Pakistani cricketers have once again been left out the list of players to be auctioned on Sunday for the Indian Premier League (IPL) sixth edition in April-May, 2013, brushing aside all the efforts by the Pakistan Cricket Board for their inclusion in the league.

Not a single Pakistani player features the 101-strong list of players despite the resumption of bilateral cricket ties between the two neighbours in December last year.

Recently, Pakistani hockey players were sent back from the Hockey India League while the women cricketers from the country, who are in India for the World Cup, were shifted from Mumbai to Cuttack following protests by the Shiv Sena.
