ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chauhdry Nisar Ali Khan has said in a statement while responding to Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khursheed’s statement against Pakistan Army, that hurling baseless allegations is an old habit of Indian leaders.

Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khursheed leveled many allegations on Pakistan Army and Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) in his statement a few hours before meeting of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh in New York on Sunday.

Pakistan Interior Minister rejected Indian FM’s all allegations against country’s army and ISI, saying his statement is condemnable, unnecessary and against the diplomatic norms.

“Salman Khursheed should have not given such a statement in any international forum but it is a habit of Indian leader that they don’t avoid baseless allegations against Pakistan,” commented Ch, Nisar.

“Always this kind of reply is given from that side of the border against every positive effort of peace from this side,” he added.

Pakistan Interior Minister advised the Indian Foreign Minister to give heed to Indian forces’ performance and work in Kashmir, instead of leveling false allegation against Pakistan Army.

Ch. Nisar said on the occasion that the Indian leaders issue these kinds of statements to deteriorate efforts of improving ties between both countries.
