India, China to hold next round of joint military exercise in November

NEW DELHI: The fourth joint military exercise between the Indian and Chinese armies will be held in India in November this year, the Indian media citing officials reported on Wednesday.

“The next round of joint training exercises between the two armies will be held in India in November,” the Joint Secretary in-charge of China in the External Affairs Ministry Gautam Bambawale said at a conference.

Both the countries held their first joint military exercise in China’s Kunming city in 2007 followed by the second round at Belgaum in Karnataka in 2008.

The third joint exercise between the two armies took place in November last year in China’s Chengdu city.
