KARACHI: At least 30 Pakistani fishermen have been detained on Friday by the Indian forces for illegally entering Indian waters, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Friday.
According to Indian media reports, the Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday arrested 30 Pakistani fishermen and impounded their boats for illegally entering Indian maritime boundary near Padala creek off Kutch district.
The operation to apprehend intruders was carried out on specific information, they said.
The Indian officials said that the BSF intercepted Pakistani fishermen near Padala Creek when they had entered Indian waters. They said that the arrested Pakistani nationals would be taken to Koteshwar and handed over to police.
