Fazl meets Indian PM, discusses bilateral issues

NEW DELHI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday called on Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi and discussed bilateral issues including Kashmir.

In a statement, the JUI-F chief said that he discussed about regional peace in the meeting with the Indian premier and raised Pakistan’s concerns on Kashmir and other issues.

The JUI-F chief said that the Indian premier assured that India believes in talks and wants to resolve all outstanding issues with Pakistan.

Fazl further said that the resolution of contentious issues between the two countries is must for durable peace in the region.
