New Delhi: Two men, including a teenager, allegedly abducted a young girl and tried to sexually assault her in a moving car but landed in police net after she jumped out of the vehicle in the capital.Dispatch News Desk (DND) reports.

The incident occurred in outer Delhi’s Aman Vihar at around 10.45 pm on Thursday, police said. The 24-year-old victim was hit by the vehicle when she escaped. She was admitted to a hospital and was stated to be out of danger.

The girl works as an accountant in Karol Bagh and had left her office at around 10 pm. She took a grameen sewa vehicle for her home in Mubarakpur but two men in a car pulled her from the auto and forcibly pushed her inside their vehicle. They then attempted to rape her and turning up the volume of the music.

However, the girl bravely fended them off and jumped from the moving car. When the duo saw the girl jump off the car, they fled after some locals gathered at the spot.
