India failing to use Baloch people against Pakistan

Moscow, Russia: Indian authorities consider their plan to use Baloch people against Pakistan is not working well, reports Russian media while citing Indian social media stories.

Indian bloggers report that Indian Home Ministry official believes that over dependence on founder of Baloch Republican Army Brahamdagh Khan Bugti is not working.

“Situation has become grave because our investment is going to drain as Baloch tribe has disowned Brahamdagh Khan Bugti and decided to support Pakistan and decided to fight against India along with Pakistan Army”, believe officials of Home Ministry India.

Bloggers cite that Shahzain Bugti who is a grandson of late Baloch tribal leader Nawab Akbar Bugti has announced his support to Pakistan Army while addressing annual convention of the Jamhoori Watan Party —the political party that represents majority of Baloch people, particularly Bugti tribe.

Bloggers claim that certain officials dealing with Baluchistan desk in Home Ministry are not happy and believe that Indian plan to destabilise Baluchistan of Pakistan is not working well and needs review and revisit.

It may be mentioned that Shahzain Bugti who is a grandson of late Baloch tribal leader Nawab Akbar Bugti, said that if war breaks out between India and Pakistan, he along with his entire tribe will fight against Indian troops.

Pakistan claims that India started it plan in 1992 to destabilise largest province of Pakistan—Baluchistan that is a heaven regarding minerals and natural resources. Situation became grave when former Chief Minister and head of Bugti tribe Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti was killed on the alleged instructions of former Chief of Pakistan Army Gen. (retired) Pervaiz Musharraf. Indian authorities took maximum advantage of this situation and geared up activities to destabilise Baluchistan and started a separated movement within Baluchistan headed by Brahamdagh Khan Bugti. He founded Baloch Republican Army that started striking Pakistan Army and people of Baluchistan.

Now Brahamdagh Khan Bugti has asked Indian government for citizenship although he has Afghan passport with the name of Ibrahim and living in Switzerland after spending many years in Afghanistan.
