Huawei is globally popular in the mobile industry. However, it may come as a surprise to you to see the mobile giant stepping into the automobile industry. The Chinese giant manufactured its first hybrid SUV named Huawei SERES SF5 in the Shanghai Auto Show 2021. The car received a lot of praise for its design and features in China. While this may be true, the Pakistani partner of Huawei, Prince DFSK, has reported that the car is expected to come to Pakistan soon.

Performance Details

As per the Facebook post published by DFSK, Huawei SERES SF5 is powered by 2 electric motors and a four-cylinder petrol engine. As per the post, the hybrid system of the new SUV uses a 1.5L petrol engine to power the battery.

The company said: “The electric motors produce a combined 551hp and 820Nm torque”.

The company also claims that the SUV range is about 180km on battery power whereas it goes for 1000km plus on hybrid power.

Exterior Details

The overall vehicle design by Huawei is really impressive as it complies with all the modern design standards of today. You can find flush door handles, a tapered roofline, sweepback headlights, and a mesh grille integrated with the bumper. On the back, you can find a pair of slim LED taillights.

Interior Features

Moving on to the interior, the salient features include instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ambient lights, heating, and ventilated seats. In the center, you can find a large portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment cluster.

Safety Features

The Huawei SERES SF5 hybrid SUV comes with a variety of safety features on board. If we look at the highlighted safety features, we can find L2+ auto assisted driving that features low-speed traffic assist, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency brake system.

Expected Arrival In Pakistan

As of now, DFSK has not shared any details about a figurative timeline for the arrival of the Huawei SERES SF5 hybrid SUV. While this may be true, DFSK may have plans to unveil the car locally in the coming quarter of the year 2021.
