HSY set to stage the grand finale at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2015 with “INK”

LAHORE, Pakistan: The iconic courtier Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) is set to close PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2015 with “INK”; a collection inspired by Asia and specifically HSY’s journeys to The Land of Rising Sun.

INK represents the essence of Langkawi, Indonesia, Nagasaki, and Yunnan with natural and indigenous yarns, hand-woven to perfection. Expect the traditional dyeing techniques of Shibori from Nagasaki, Batik from Indonesia, and Gara from Sierra Leone infused with mackintosh, saffron, aubergine, eggshell, rosette, indigo and ochre. Created with the scorching sub continental summer in mind, INK channels versatile hemlines to suit a diversity of younger, older, working men, women and homemakers alike.

The collection will be retailed as separates as of May-June 2015 at the HSY flagship store and online.

“2015 is all about pushing the retail boundaries for us at HSY. With our brand now in its twenty first year and our Lahore ready to wear flagship store having just turned one, we look forward to opening another flagship in Karachi and creating more brand accessibility for our pret a porter online through e-commerce on our website, www.hsystudio.com. INK is a manifestation of this retail philosophy, whereby we bring to our patrons a diverse journey through design, all available to purchase within 1 month of our show, online and in store. I am also proud of the fact that this year our Shergarh project is expanding upon our last year’s effort, empowering almost twice as many women as before,” said designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin.
