ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP), houses will be reserved for 600 journalists from the Islamabad region in the first phase.

In a meeting with the Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing Development Authority Lt. General (retd) Anwar Ali held in Islamabad on Monday, the information minister said that later the Prime Minister’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme will be extended to Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala.

   

The information minister said that the programme will also be taken to Peshawar and Quetta.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that the welfare of journalists and media workers is our top priority.
