RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: High level postings and transfers have been made in Pakistan army, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

   

In a press release issued on Friday, the ISPR said that Lieutenant General Shahid Baig Mirza has been appointed as the Inspector General Communication and Information Technology (IG C&IT) and Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza has been appointed as the Chief of General Staff (CGS) at Army’s General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

Likewise, Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz has been appointed as the Commander Karachi Corps, Lieutenant General Muhammad Naeem Ashraf as the Commander Multan Corps, and Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar as the Commander Rawalpindi Corps.

The ISPR said that Lieutenant General Abdullah Dogar has been appointed as the Chairman Heavy Industry Taxila (HIT).
