RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) on Wednesday forecasts more rain with thunderstorm in different places of country during the next 12 hours as rain battered Punjab and upper country yesterday.

Upper parts of the country, including the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, received rain during the last twenty-four hours.

The PMD said more rain with thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Islamabad‚ Rawalpindi‚ Sargodha‚ Gujranwala‚ Lahore‚ Peshawar‚ Hazara divisions and Kashmir during the next 12 hours.

Rawalpindi received seventy millimeter rain while Islamabad fifty.
