Islamabad, Pakistan: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of United States indicates that cities and towns of province of Sindh bordering Indian Rajasthan are under Risk of spreading Japanese Encephalitis that has already made its way to Indian Rajasthan.

The centre has advice travelers to apply vaccination of virus before visiting areas of risk that include Pakistani province of Sindh bordering Rajasthan of India.

It is pertinent to mention virus spreads through mosquito bites and symptoms of disease usually appear after five to 15 days of bite.  Symptoms include vomiting with fever, headache, and imbalance in body. It has no cure yet because fever cause welling in brain and patient goes to state of coma.

Hindustan Times reported on Sunday that a woman who died some days ago in Rajasthan was victim of Japanese encephalitis. National Institute of Virology (NIV) of Pune confirmed that virus of Japanese encephalitis was found in her blood.

Pakistan is already fighting with dengue virus which is also spread by mosquito bites.

South Asia and South East Asia are high risk areas regarding mosquito bites related diseases due to weather which provides perfect housing for mosquitos.
