Since it’s partnership with Haval and BAIC, Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SWEL) is has been working on manufacturing vehicles of said brands. With the BAIC BJ40 already in the market receiving mass critical acclaim and popularity, Sazgar’s Automotive Technologies is planning to expand its product lineup. This quite clear as they just brought in a Haval H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) for display and testing purposes. The vehicle is currently placed on display at one of Sazgar’s dealership in Karachi. Although it has spiked the excitement of the Pakistani car enthusiasts, there is no official news on the launch date for the SUV. While we wait for that, let’s look at what the H6 has to offer once it rolls out in the market.
Haval H6 Hybrid Specifications
Haval H6 is a compact crossover SUV with contemporary design and features. Set to rival the likes of other Kia Sportage, MG HS and other similar SUVs.
Performance
Powered by a turbocharged 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 2-speed hybrid electric motor and a 1.8 kWh battery pack. The vehicle also packs a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) — an automatic gearbox developed by GWM for its Hybrid Vehicles. This sends the power to the front wheels only.
The hybrid powerhouse enables the vehicle to rack up 240 horsepower and 530 Newton-meters of torque.

Talking about the features, Haval H6 Hybrid offers a superfluity of amenities. It comes with an adaptive cruise control, traction and stability control, autonomous braking, collision warning, lane keep assist and departure warning, hill-start assist, auto-climate control, parking sensors (front and back), 360° cameras, modern infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, a digital head-unit display, 6-airbags, among several other features.
Haval H6 Hybrid Price in Pakistan
The expected price for the H6 is estimated to be around Rs. 8 million, which is the same as other Completely Built-Up (CBU) hybrid SUVs in Pakistan. This could be lower if the H6 is offered as a locally assembled SUV
