ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Adviser on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar on Monday inaugurated the launching of Hi-Tech Courses under the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Program at National University of Technology (NUTECH) in Islamabad.
Under the umbrella of the Kamyab Jawan Program, Rs 30 billion’s Skilled for All (Hunarmand Pakistan) is executed by the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) under the Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP).
Initially, with Rs 9.84 billion allocations spreading over 20 months, the SIP aims at skilling 170,000 youth in Hi-Tech and Conventional Skills.
The program aims to prepare Pakistani youth in Hi-Tech and Conventional Skills including digital skills, financial inclusion, social entrepreneurship and micro-business support for employment and economic empowerment of youth.

“We want to invest in our youth for adequately building their capacities for the matching jobs market. Our focus is on imparting relevant and required skills to our youth,” Usman Dar said during a briefing session by the Rector NUTECH Lieutenant General (retd) Khalid Asghar.
Under the Kamyab Jawan program, Hi-Tech Courses offered by the NUTECH Skills Development Department (NSDD) include Computer Graphics (UI/UX), Cloud Computing, Robotics, Mobile App Development and IoT (Internet of Things).
After the Inauguration Ceremony, Usman Dar addressed the faculty, support staff and students wherein he applauded the role and hard work of NUTECH and NAVTTC for successful launching of the program.
Usman Dar said that the program will multiply skilled manpower and increase the employability of the youth in Pakistan.
The Special Assistant further said that the government is making serious efforts for youth inclusivity in the economic development of the country. He stressed that to make Kamyab Jawan Program a successful initiative, its merit, standard, and transparency is ensured at all levels.
