THATTA, Pakistan: Minister of State and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Marvi Memon has said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is serving the country with full zeal and zest and leading the nation to progress and prosperity.
She was talking to newsmen during her visit to village Ghulam Hussain Lakhatio in Taluka Choohar Jamali of Sujawal district on Saturday.
Dharnas (Sit-in) and demonstrations had caused damage to the economy of the country, she said adding that government was cooperating with opposition on TORs on Panama Leaks.
She said ATM system has been abolished so as to curb the agents and middle men who were trying to loot the poor BISP beneficaries.
Now the deserving women will affix their thumb impressions to get the support money of BISP, she said adding that this program will be started in 16 district of Sindh including Thatta and Sujawal after Ramzan.
She said that strict action will be taken against those who will try to cheat the beneficiaries of BISP.
