ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Turkish ambassador to Pakistan Mustafa Yurdakul on Wednesday said Turkey would offer scholarships to Pakistani students to study in Turkey.
Talking to the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Engineer Muhammad Baligh-Ur-Rehman in Islamabad, the Turkish ambassador said the two Countries had exemplary ties in all fields including education and these relations would be further enhanced in the future.
The envoy noted that Pakistan was peaceful and established Country. He said Turkish students were studying in Pakistan and they were satisfied with the quality of education here.
Baligh-Ur-Rehman said both Pakistan and Turkey were brotherly Countries and enjoying cordial relations. He lauded Turkey for its progress in all fields including technology, education, and economy etc.
The minister said the promotion of quality education was the priority of the government of Pakistan, adding funding for education sector in Pakistan had been increased.
The federal minister said number of out of school children had phenomenally reduced in the Country and enrolment had accelerated. He said students from other Countries were studying in different educational institutions in Pakistan.
