Briefing media in Islamabad on Wednesday about the decisions taken by the Federal Cabinet, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain apprised that it has been decided to treat banned TLP as a militant organization and that no one will be allowed to challenge the writ of the state.

The information minister said that the state and the government demonstrated utmost restraint and avoided the use of force against the violent protesters of banned TLP. He said that Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan is not a political organization and instead a militant group.

“Banned TLP is not a religious party but a militant group and will be treated as that now,” the minister remarked.
