President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has congratulated the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

“Please accept my sincere congratulations and best wishes on your election as the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,” the Tajik president said in his felicitation letter to Imran Khan.

The Tajik president said that I am fully confident that in the forthcoming period of your activities in this state important position, traditional friendly relations and multi-beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan will be further strengthened and expanded.

“We express our satisfaction with the constantly development of mutual relations between our countries and always have practical links to further enrichment of their content with practical new steps of action,” he said.

Emomali Rahmon said that in this regard, I would like to express my readiness for further development of our relationship.

“I also take this opportunity to express my sincere wishes to you on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al Adha,” he said.

“I wish you the best of health, happiness and success in the development of the Pakistani society and growing stability and the brotherly people of Pakistan peace and prosperity.”
