Government of PakistanStrengthening of institutions vital for strong democracy: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the strengthening of institutions is vital for a strong and vibrant democracy.

Talking to his Adviser on Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan who met in Islamabad on Monday and discussed various Constitutional, legal, and political issues, the prime minister said that all pillars of the State are working for the development of the Country within their respective domains.

The prime minister said that those pointing fingers at the institutions for their political gains can never be champions of democracy.

In his remarks, Babar Awan termed the government’s policies for economic stability and control of COVID-19 as important successes.

Calling the opposition leaders merchants of darkness, the adviser said that they have no future in the Country.
