ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chairman Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui met the Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad on Monday to discuss the political situation in the Country besides other matters of mutual interest.

Talking to the MQM Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the malicious propaganda against state institutions, saying that the latter are the proud asset of Pakistan.

The interior minister said that the behavior of elements involving in running an organized propaganda against institutions is tantamount to anti-state activities. He said that no one will be allowed to run a negative campaign against the institutions.

The minister reiterated that any attempt to sabotage the development of Pakistan and the prosperity of its people will not succeed. He said that there is no status of personal interests have no importance compared to national ones.

In his remarks, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that everyone needs to stay united and work together for the sake of the Country.
