ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Training Courses on imparting various skills will commence after opening up of educational institutes in the Country, it was agreed in a meeting between the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar and the Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives Asad Umer in Islamabad on Friday.
During the meeting, Usman Dar briefed Asad Umar on the progress made on the initiatives launched under the umbrella of the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme.
They also discussed creating 0.1 million jobs for youth through technical education.
Asad Umer assured that the government will provide necessary financial support to the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme as youth is a precious national asset and their role in economic revival will be helpful.
Usman Dar emphasized that Prime Minister Imran Khan is keen to make youth an important stakeholder in the Country’s development.
The Special Assistant said that one million jobs will be created through the Kamyab Jawan Programme. He said that youth who have received loans under Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES) have already started different businesses.
The meeting also discussed the plan regarding assigning more responsibilities to the volunteers of Tigers Force.
“Tigers Force will be given various roles and duties through an effective e-governance system,” Usman Dar said.
