LAHORE, Pakistan: The Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that Sharif brothers and Asif Ali Zardari have no political future, adding that only Shahbaz Sharif is seeking a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

While addressing a Press Conference in Lahore on Saturday, Sheikh Rasheed said that he is seeing Imran Khan as most likely to complete his five-year tenure in the government.

The minister said that Imran Khan is an extremely honest person, and he has never witnessed any prime minister before, he worked with, more hard-working than the incumbent leader.

Sheikh Rasheed said that Prime Minister Imran Khan won’t stand by a person involved in NAB Cases.

In reply to a question, the minister backed the Parliamentary System in the Country, saying that there was a consensus on the 1973 Constitution; therefore, it must remain law of the land.

Talking about Pakistan Railways, the minister said that the Main Line One (ML-1) Project will provide around 150,000 job opportunities.

The railways minister said that Pakistan and China will sign a preliminary agreement for the design of the ML-1 project during the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to China. He said that after the completion of ML-1 project, the travel duration from Lahore to Karachi will be reduced to eight hours.
