ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Deputy Chief of Naval Staff Training and Evaluation Rear Admiral Zahid Ilyas held a meeting with the Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During talks, the education minister pledged to extend all possible cooperation to the educational institutions being run by Pakistan Navy.

Rear Admiral Zahid Ilyas asked the minister to include topics related to the subject of maritime in syllabus.

Zahid Ilyas also asked the education minister to increase the number of scholarships for educational institutions of Pakistan Navy.

The minister directed the Secretary Education to talk to the Chairman High Education Commission (HEC) with regard to increase the number of scholarships for Pakistan Navy’s educational institutions as demanded by Rear Admiral Zahid Ilyas.
